Seg\u00fan refiere Benito Arias Montano en su carta a Gabriel de Zayas del 28 de febrero de 1569, Carrillo hab\u00eda solicitado la mediaci\u00f3n del secretario real para conseguir el cobro de la deuda, por la que pagaba un inter\u00e9s anual del ocho por ciento.
