Fue un afamado impresor de libros en hebreo y due\u00f1o de un floreciente taller en Venecia entre 1515 y 1549. No obstante, tuvo que abandonar la ciudad por la hostilidad de la nobleza veneciana y los decretos inquisitoriales. Cf.
